Scope
 The 1^ST International Symposium on Neuromorphic and Nonlinear Engineering aims to provide another opportunity to communicate and discuss with the researchers in the neuromorphic and related research fields. The term 'Non-linear' in the title intends that we take notice of the fact that the nerve system, therefore the neuromorphic system, is highly non-linear. Non-linear science and engineering are one of the interests of this symposium's sponsor, FIRST, Aihara Innovative Mathematical Modelling Project.
